A recently completed commission - a surfboard dining table! Seats 6 people (believe it or not!), finished with a plastic coating so the surface is resistant to water, alcohol, solvents, etc.

Due to lack of space in the clients flat the design had to be such that when not in use the whole table hangs on the wall out of the way, and just looks like a showcase surfboard. The legs which are steel make the table look like it is floating. The legs are housed in the rear of the board when in its space saving position. At the wall end the table snuggly fits into a dovetail plate that is fixed with screws into the wall.
