This is my latest creation, currently on show at the Cowhouse Gallery in Perranuthnoe. Inspired by stalagmites and columns (where stalagmites join with stalactites) and featuring an amythest crystal and 2 geodes (half egg minerals with crystal formations inside them).

Its actually a Pedestal Table, made from plywood with a birds eye maple veneer surrounding the geodes under a round glass top.







I am considering turning this into a new collection as oppossed to a one-off. I will see as this one was a heck of a lot of sanding (I don't have a lathe yet!).
